ORLANDO, Fla. — By Matt Reeser
Brew Theory is expanding to Apopka.
The popular contract brewing facility said it plans to open the new Brew Theory Marketplace food hall in 2023.
The new 12,000 square foot space in Apopka City Center will house restaurants, a full liquor bar, a taproom, and a beer garden.
“Brew Theory Marketplace will be a go-to destination for all Central Florida locals and visitors with the best of Orlando restaurants, retail, beer, and bar offerings, and beautiful grounds for folks to grab lunch, dinner with friends, have a meeting, shop around and stay for a while,” Roberts said.
Founded in 2018 by craft beer aficionado Jeremy Roberts, Brew Theory offers end-to-end contract brewing and features a brewery, taproom, and “beer lab” where guests experience the science of beer.
In addition to downtown Orlando, Brew Theory will open a 50,000 square foot production facility in Sanford next year with plans for another location in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Brew Theory Marketplace in Apopka City Center is scheduled to open in the summer of 2023.
